Ink and Paper Press' debut release, My China Dream by Douglas W. Bowers, is now available on Amazon.com for Kindle and on paperback here.
One night, Brooklyn patrol officer Charlie Peltman is hit on the head while chasing a suspect. Afterwards, he begins dreaming that he is a Chinese general in the Ming dynasty. Every night he returns to old China where he tries to solve the murder of a family, navigating the cultural differences and etiquettes of commanding a foreign army. During the day, while in the beginnings of a new relationship, Charlie receives threatening messages referencing events from his dreams. He starts to question reality itself as he works to unravel a global mystery, stretching across centuries, uncovering a sinister plot that puts him and those close to him in mortal danger. My China Dream is the first of Charlie's Dream Trilogy that continues with My Germany Nightmare and concludes with My America Hope, a multi-time period roller coaster that brings the story full-circle to 2012 Brooklyn.
